Processing time

We try our very best to get your orders to you as soon as possible. Most orders are shipped within 1-3 business days. Processing times for custom orders vary. If you have any questions regarding your order please contact us at info@thesteadyhandshop.com with your order number.

Depends on the shipping method you choose. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email or text with a tracking number.

All orders are processed and shipped from our home in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

International Order/Shipping

All international mail is shipped delivery duties unpaid (DDU). Payment of these charges is the responsibility of the customer. All charges are determined by the customs agency of the given country. The Steady Hand is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged or orders sent to insufficient addresses. All unclaimed/undelivered mail not returned to us will not be refunded. Unclaimed/undelivered mail returned to us will be refunded less all applicable fees.

Lost/Stolen Packages

The Steady Hand is NOT responsible for LOST/STOLEN packages, packages sent to the wrong address, or refunding/replacing packages that have not been delivered. The customer is responsible for filing all claims with the shipping provider. Once you receive a response to your claim we will be able to address the issue. Once your package is scanned into the shipper's system we assume no liability. Please contact me and I will help you to file a claim or file a claim on your behalf.

Damaged, missing or defective items

We are not responsible for damaged packages or products that are damaged during transit. Once your package is scanned in to the shipper's system (UPS or USPS) we are no longer responsible for your package. Please contact me within 5 days of your package delivery if the package or products you receive are damaged in any way. Please take pictures of the damaged packaging as well as any damage to the products. All this information is critical to file a claim. Once the claim is filed then we will be happy to replace the damaged items. If we are not able to file a claim (you do not provide pictures) then we will not be able to replace the damaged items.

If you are missing any pieces or products in your order please contact us within 5 business days after receiving your order.

Crochet Patterns

Crochet Pattern Orders cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged. Your files will be available to download once payment is confirmed.

Returns and Exchanges

Returns

To return your product, please contact us first.

Our return policy lasts 14 days from the date you received your order and we kindly ask that you contact us within this time frame. If 14 days have gone by since you received your products, unfortunately we will not be able to accept your return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Please use the original packaging when possible.

Custom or personalized orders

Information about our custom order inserts:
We require that custom orders are paid in advance. Once payment is received, we will start on your order and ship it once it is complete. Custom order dividers are non-refundable and also not able to be cancelled. Of course, if there is an issue with your dividers when you receive them, please let us know. We put a lot of work and effort into ensuring that our Custom Order Dividers are made to the specifications that you provide.

Any and all returns of our MDF Dividers or Inserts will be charged a 20% restocking fee.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable).
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item(s) over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the full, partial or rejection of your refund.

Any and all returns of our MDF Dividers or Inserts will be charged a 20% restocking fee.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items, clearance items or products purchased with a coupon code cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order if you would like to exchange your item(s). Items must be in their original condition, not damaged or missing parts. Please note that buyers are responsible for paying return shipping costs and any difference in exchange product pricing. Once we receive the returned items, we will process and ship out the exchange products. Please send us an email at info@thesteadyhandshop.com.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you can exchange the item for one of equal to lesser value. Once the returned item is received, your new item will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
