Lightweight purse/tote great for everyday use or on the weekends for heading to the market or fair. This bag is soft and supple.
This bag is 13″ wide at the base, 11" wide at the top, 10″ tall and 5″ deep. Handles have a 9" drop and are 1" wide.
The outside-front of the bag features a dark orange background with the text "let the Sunshine in". This fabric is from the Pep Talk Panel by Ruby Star Society. The outside-back of the bag is a mix of solid-beige fabric and some scraps from the "let the Sunshine in" panel. It features 2 large slip pockets. The outer sides, bottom and handles of the bag are solid-beige.
The inside of the bag is a very pale pink fabric with tiny grey circles. There are 2 large slip pockets made with solid-beige fabric.
To make this tote bag I used the Ethel Tote Bag pattern from SwoonPatterns.com.
Materials used: cotton fabric, cotton interfacing, polyester fusible fleece interfacing and cotton thread.
Care Instructions
This bag is washable. You can wash it by hand, hang dry (not in direct sunlight) and use an iron on the cotton setting to remove any wrinkles.
Any items other than the product described shown in the pictures is not included (scissors, yarn, measuring tape, yarn needle, crochet hook, knitting needles, etc.). All of my handmade items are made in a smoke free environment. My home is dog friendly but my little one does not come in contact with any of my handmade items or supplies.
